Google Search

Received notification this morning that I received the latest and greatest update from Firefox. Ever since receiving that notification, every time I do a Google Search, it comes back with response from Yahoo. My default Search engine is Google yet I can't receive anything back from Google. It won't even allow me to get in to Google Maps. What gives?

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; (<Control> [Mac=<Command>] <Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove “ Yahoo “ Anything.

Also remove SafeSearch, SearchAssist Incognito, FileConverter Addon, SearchLock, DiscreteSearch, WebSearch, Findwide Search Engine, securedsearch

Now do the same in the computer’s Programs Folder.

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the Applications folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

When I go to Add-ons or Ctrl+Shift+A, I just get a blank screen.

Did something. Not sure what I did, but it worked. Thanks!

Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
