Hello, Does Firefox allow the installation of Progressive Web Apps? All the guides that I'm finding online are either for Chrome or Edge. I want to install a Web App on my desktop. Please help!

This should work as well in Firefox 77 that has browser.ssb.enabled present on about:config (just tested with YouTube via Page actions menu), so no need for unstable Nightly builds.

Note that there is also the --ssb command line switch as mentioned in the bug report.

I had no idea what Firefox Nightly was, but it seems to have partially solved it. Since the particular web app is the only one that I currently use, I just set its URL as my homepage, and then I click on the button that turns it into an app. So it's more convenient that way. The one downside is that it will open links in the Nightly version and not in the stable version.

Thank you so much for the tips!

Never mind;   James (moderator) already took care of it.
