I have three tabs (opened emails) on my Thunderbird page. I cannot delete them. They are stuck. If I open other emails tabs open and I can close them, but these three remain as if they are pinned. I have tried everything, but they keep coming back. Can anyone help?

I couldn't really get my head around this. However, it did get me thinking so I clicked on 'Move to a New Window' This opened another TBird window with it as the only tab. When I closed this, the original tab had gone. I have now got rid of them. Thanks for your advice though as it inspired me to try other solutions. I had just about given up before.

Try this: Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Open Folder, close TB, delete or rename session.json. Restart TB a few times and see if it opens with the tabs and folder that were open when TB was last closed.
