UPDATE YOUR WEBPAGE INFO re: late 2017 crappy update!
Ever since the supposed 'improvement' recently (late 2017) I cannot find info on how to alphabetize bookmarks. Your own website still has a screenshot that looks like Windows 98. There's no 'intuitive' flow to this new look, something like this should be easy to figure out.

Open the Bookmarks Manager; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.
Go to the directory 'tree' on the left. Right-click on a folder and select Sort By Name.
If you want to sort by something else, you may have to find an add-on.
"Bookmarks manager" if you mean the upper right icon that looks like 4 book spines with one of them tilted...? When I click on that I get 5 selections, one of which is 'bookmarks'. When I click on that, I get 'bookmarking tools', search bookmarks, and all my actual bookmarks. 'Bookmarking tools' only shows: add bookmarks menu to to bar, view bookmarks sidebar, hide bookmarks toolbar. The ALT or F10 keys do nothing.
Please mouse to the top of the browser and Right Click in a empty space and Click Menu Bar.
Go to Bookmarks then View All Bookmarks then View and you have 10 or so choices.
Please update to 57.0.2 if not already there : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version
