Thanderbird does not start (after giving me the signal that it installs new settings)
When I started the computer I got a message that Thunderbird was doing some kind of change in the settings. The message stoped showing but then Thunderbird was not starting. I closed th PC and started it again but now I cannot start Thunderbird.

Do you have Thunderbird set to start with Windows?
If not, then I doubt that it was Thunderbird that said that some changes needed to be made.
Hold down the Windows key and press the R key. This will open a Run window. Type into it:
thunderbird.exe -p
and press Enter.
Follow my instructions in this link to Create a new profile in Thunderbird, and see if Thunderbird will work with it. If the new profile works better, then import your stuff from the old profile to the new profile.
