I would like to know how I can get the copy and paste under the tool bar to work. They won't highlight so I can use them?

Try to reset Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems

Do the keyboard commands for copy and paste work?
{Ctrl + C} and {Ctrl + V}
