Have two trash folders,no junk folder on screen?

I set up a new e-mail account. Under my in box column, I have two trash folders, but no junk folder.How do I add a junk folder to folder's list ? Also how to remove one of the trash folders.

Thunderbird does not use a Spam folder. If your email provider does you may need to subscribe to it if you have an IMAP account.

Go to File-Subscribe and see what you see there.
