lost settings
This morning when I opened Firefox, it had lost all my saved tabs, lost my toolbars and just kept giving me a pop up screen about an add on that I didn't want. Why has it done this and how can I put it back to how it was. AND HOW CAN I STOP FIREFOX MEDDLING AND DOING IT AGAIN????????

Sorry you are having problems with Firefox.

It will not be Firefox meddling. You or other software / malware will have made changes.
Try the Firefox Reset, but first of all read the article, Note you may wish to close all unnecessary open tabs and bookmark any that remain. You will loose some settings and open tabs, but bookmarks and passwords etc are preserved
- READ Reset Firefox preferences to troubleshoot and fix problems
Use FirefoxButton -> Help -> Troubleshooting -> [Reset]
