I have 2 versions of my bookmarks in the bookmarks window - one after the other, but I can only access the first one in "show all bookmarks" Unfortunately, the second one is the one that is being updated when I save new sites. How can I get rid of the first version that shows up when I try to access bookmarks from the bookmarks menu?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
