Has anyone had problems with Firefox 9 and loading bbc website?

The BBC website is slow to load, loads incorrectly and links to other pages do not work or take forever to load, sometimes needing to be reloaded to make them appear. I have reverted to Firefox 3.6.12 and everything works as it should, no problems, so what's with Firefox 9?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Thanks for your suggestions. I did try everything you've suggested but it didn't make any difference! Maybe my PC is just to old to try new tricks! It seems to work fine using Firefox 3.6.25 so I'll continue to use that for the time being, unless Firefox come up a fix.
