How do I change the default e-mail account. No "mailto" exists in tools/applications

Posted how to answers use tools/applications/mailto but the current firefox has no mailto entry in the list of applications.

Try to delete the file mimeTypes.rdf in the Firefox Profile Folder

See "Reset Download Actions"

I did step one above but the next instruction is much too cryptic for me.

I looked at the link but did not see a reference to e-mail actions.

I am taking it you are using v7.0.1

Because there is... Go to Options > Options > Applications and there it is...

Not with a VISTA OS. Worked great on XP.
