how can i hide firefox menu

Often the Private Browsing option is useful because only certain items need hiding, sites unsuitable for other younger users, or finance related sites for instance. You can also selectively clear items or clear all the History. Another consideration may be to use separate user accounts on your computer for different users, each account then has its own History. (It is also possible to set up separate firefox profiles for users but that can be less straightforward) In private browsing no history is saved after the session, unless for instance you specifically save particular bookmarks. The Private browsing can be made permanent.
