I have lost my back/forward option along with my bookmarking and have lost my complete list of bookmarks. I am unable to import them back. How can I correct this?
I erased some games and lost the back/forward option. I then upgrades firefox and lost all of my bookmarks and the bookmark option won't let me add on new bookmarks. I have gone to several troubleshooting pgs and still unable to resolve the problem. When I start firefox, it tells me I can't bookmark because of security blocking it.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
back/forward also lost here after migration to 4.0/11
- In Firefox 3.6 versions on Windows and Firefox 4 on Windows and Linux it's possible to hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu of a toolbar.
- Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
- Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).
