I typically have Firefox running all the time. Recently it has been crashing at random times. Some of the crashes leave messages saying that plugin-container has crashed. Some are reported and leave behind a record in about:crashes, but in other cases the program just dies.

I tried to locate the crash reports online but could not. It says it's searching and then says "Oh Noes"...

I've updated to 3.6.13, the latest Java. I often run other browsers as well (Chrome, IE) for certain tasks. Can those interfere with Firefox???

It looks like the Crash Reports server is overloaded right now and "times out" with that Oh Noes! message.

Try disabling the Java Quick Start extension, and maybe the McAfee Site Advisor extensions. Two other extensions that are known to be problematic in Firefox are already disabled.

Other browsers shouldn't affect Firefox or cause it to crash, even if they are running at the same time as Firefox - unless you are maxing out your RAM or CPU. I have had 4 different version of Firefox running simultaneously, along with 5 or 6 other browsers on a fairly basic AMD 2.2 GHz processor with 2 GB of RAM, on WinXP - without problems or Firefox crashing.
