Too many emails
I have been using my phone a lot and so I've been getting my email on it. In the meantime however the items have been saved on the server. My computer hard drive crashed and when I have installed Thunderbird I find I have 26 thousand emails!! I would like to delete big hunks of it but how to go about it? Thanks.

Select the ones you want to delete, then press the <Delete> key to send them to the Trash folder, or press <Shift+Delete> to delete them immediately, bypassing Trash.
You can use any of Thunderbird's search features to refine your selection.
