Firefox Accounts has been renamed as Mozilla Accounts since November 1, 2023 to reflect that it is no longer being used just for the Firefox Sync feature.
What a Mozilla Account is used for besides logging into this support.mozilla.org site. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/access-mozilla-services-firefox-account#w_what-services-can-i-use-with-a-mozilla-account
Extensions are installed in the Firefox web browser and not into a Mozilla Account.
