Thunderbird 150 and 151 under Linux Arch; empty Folder thunderbird in personal Folder

Hello all After a Thunderbird update, a folder named "thunderbird" was created in my Personal folder. This folder is empty. After deleting the folder, it is recreated when Thunderbird is restarted. How do I get rid of this folder? Alternatively, what does this folder contain, and how can I move it to a different location?

It is a known problem and will get fixed eventually at the time the next TB ESR version will be released. For the time being, just ignore the empty "thunderbird" folder.

Thanks, christ1, for your reply. After a long search, I found the report in Bugzilla—though without a solution. Let's see when this folder disappears again.
