Not so much a question as a complaint....why so many stories on the Mozilla homepage require the reader to subscribe to the particular story source, just to read that one story
I'm an 81 yr old white male. I've chosen Firefox as my browser for 2 reasons. I feel that it keeps me relatively safe, and I enjoy the stories you choose for the home page. The problem is that over the years,, many stories on the homepage require the reader to subscribe to the story's source in order to read it.
For a man my age, that's nuts.....subscribe just to read that one story.....not gonna do it. Consequently, I've had to look elsewhere that which I wish to read. I recommend that you research other periodicals that might allow reading without the required subscription.

Makes a lot of sense. I will not subscribe to read such and I'm only 78 :D

While this might sound wild… the publishers actually experiment with how much content and to whom they'd show before nagging about subscriptions. So some of the content folks already reported that lead right to a paywall for them, I, on the other side of the pond, was able to read just fine. So I believe the content is actually really curated based on best intentions… yet the publishers then try to convert the visits into paying customers right away:(
