Firefox ESP
I have downloaded Firefox ESR and think it has been installed on my masOS version 10.12.1 and am wondering if I can use it on this version after reading your warning about support. Perhaps I have not installed it properly as I have just used what I think was the previous version since it has all the oldsaved sites.

Firefox 115 ESR currently at 115.30.0esr is the most current Firefox you can run on the old eol macOS 10.12. The Firefox 115 ESR is planned for updates til 115.33.0esr unless Mozilla extends updates again.
Firefox 116.0 and later including the current Fx 140.5.0esr and Fx 145.0.2 Release requires macOS 10.15 (ten.fifteen) at minimum to run. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-users-macos-1012-1013-1014-moving-to-extended-support
