Hi,

I started to notice recently that calendars in some websites I browse with Mozilla are inaccurate. The dates like months, days,... are in a mess. Then I used Google Chrome instead of Mozilla and it went right. It was accurate with Chrome browsing those sites. Did you hear of the same problems with Mozilla ? What can be wrong ?

Thanks for your insights,

All the best,

Denis

Hi Denis,

The latest 143.0.4 Firefox version was released on October 3, so I'm not sure if it was the solution. Anyway, I'm happy that the issue is resolved. Sorry for not actually helping, but please do not hesitate to ask a new question in case that happens again, we'll do our best to find more things to try.

PS I'll mark your last reply as a solution.

Hi

What level of Enhanced Tracking Protection do you have set in Firefox?

Are you using any add-ons?

Hi there,

The calendar on the website you mentioned works fine for me. Could you please follow the steps below to troubleshoot your issue?

  1. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon at the left of the address bar.
    • If ETP is enabled, try disabling it. Does the problem persist?
  2. If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache. Does it help?
  3. If it does not help, also try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website). Does it help?
  4. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. Does the problem persist?

Looking forward to your update!

Hi Paul, Hi Denys, Hi TyDraniu,

I disabled Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP). I cleared the Firefox cache and cookies. Unfortunatly the problem persists. I did not run yet Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode.

Level of ETP is customized : tracking content, cryptominers, known fingerprinters, suspected fingerprinters.

I don't use add-ons.

The thing is that the calendars in some sites are OK and others are messy. Not all the calendars are impacted.

Thank you so much for your help.

Dear all,

I did nothing and today all the calendars are OK in all the websites I used. So it was a problem with Firefox ? An update of the navigator cleaned everything ?

Thanks,

Denis

Hi Denys, the installation of the latest version of Firefox on October 3 is most probably the reason for the positive change reagarding my problem. Thanks for the info.

All the best,

Denis
