Restore Download History
I like to keep a record of my download history. I accidentally clicked the "Clear Downloads" in the Downloads page and years of download history disappeared. I am surprise there isn't a popup message box asking for confirmation.
Does anyone know how can I restore my download history in "Downloads"? Thanks.

Downloads are considered history items: clearing history removes corresponding download items and vice versa. You would need a copy of places.sqlite that has those history download items to recover that download history you accidentally removed.
If you use the Time Machine or other backup then try to restore the places.sqlite file from this backup.
You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
