Firefox upgraded itself without asking my permission, removed my Lastpass extension without my permission, and deleted all my cookies. this beyond reason

Hello. Do you have the option to ask Firefox to check for updates? It is under Firefox Updates on the General page of Settings.
Evidently, there is an issue with LastPass. I would check its page on the add-ons site. If it isn't listed there, you will have to find its website.
