no Firefox video player for CNN videos?

I've written about this before, but no help? I'm using Firefox Mac 78.15 (up to date). When I go to CNN and select a video, a thumbnail (still image) of the video appears, but no player with controls, so no video. When I do the same on Chrome, I get a video in a video player, which plays just fine. Also, all other videos on FIrefox (YouTube Fox News, etc.) play just fine?

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

FredMcD, thanks so much for your response! I've tried the suggestions - restart in Safe mode, clear cookies, clear cache - with no luck or change. I still get no video "player" when I click on a CNN video - - just a thumbnail image. And when I click the same link in either Chrome or Safari, the image presents in a video player window and the video plays just fine? thanks again

I called for more help.

so, the problem with Firefox/Mac (91.3.0) and the CNN website is a bit more than I had actually thought? I had thought that it was only that Firefox/Mac presented no video "player" when a CNN video was on the current page, but it turns out that, in the upper right corner of the CNN page, there are the following "buttons" - - Edition, Search, Menu - - and, though I get a selecting hand, none of those buttons respond to clix. This only happens on a video page. Please see attachment. So, there definitely something broken in the way that Firefox/Mac is interacting with CNN's pages with videos - - anyone who might have some tech knowledge, please weigh in? thanks in advance!
