Sending message error "Failed due unexpected error 80004005. No description available. The message could not be sent using Outgoing server (SMTP)mail.hover.com for an unknown reason, Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.:

I have looked and cannot find the error. Able to transmit email using several other methods but prefer this way when it works. Assistance please.

'Incorrect greeting' usually means the authentication method or password are wrong. What are your smtp settings, and what is the antivirus, and its settings for email? Secure settings are: mail.hover.com on 465, SSL/TLS, authentication = normal password, User Name = email address.
