Firefox for Android
I just received an update for Firefox for Android, through Google Play store, in 1 place, it says v.84.1.4, she I looked @ "What's New", where the version# is shown, with the date, the size of the update, the link to see permissions, etc- it says the version is 85.1.x,(sorry, don't recall what that last number was- I have TBI, memory doesn't cooperate @ times), BEFORE I GO UPDATING ANYTHING, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT VERSION# I'M GOING FROM, & WHAT VERSION I'M GOING TO! I didn't look in my phone settings, to see what I'm running right now,(I'm using Razer Phone 2, on MetroPcs, by T-Mobile), I wasn't expecting to see something like this, 2 different versions, 1 #84, & other #85, on the update page! I'm gonna back out of the Playstore update page, check phone for what version I'm running now, while I wait for an answer, from the people who should know! BTW, I'm NOT looking @ different screens, I know the difference between a main update, & a Beta version, or a Nightly version, & so forth! I'm seeing this on the main update from the Playstore! Ok? I'll check my phone, you tell me last version, to new updated version, fair enough? Thanks

Ok, I'm back... Just checked it ALL- I'm on 84.1.4 Update jumps to 85.1.1 Beta version shows 85.1.oo9beta, (I believe- again, my memory sucks, that's what I believe it said- Beta version was also in Playstore). Looks like you forgot to tell us "What's New" for version 85.1.1 !! Ok? I'm very careful about what I'm downloading onto this Razer Phone 2, since I bought it right after it was released, for the full price, directly from Razer, loads of folks have complained about this phone, I've had very few problems @ all, I didn't buy it for gaming, I bought it for the AWESOME stereo sound, the large screen & keyboard buttons,(I'm 6'5", with a little larger hands than most), my only concern now, just a bit more than 2 yrs later, is finding an original brand new battery, or an aftermarket brand that's reputable, that's either same size or larger, as long as I can get a larger back cover, that will allow larger size battery. Firefox works fine on this, my problem is being disabled, on a set income, & not able to pay $800-$1,000+ every couple years! Not if I want a place to live, & eat @ the same time! Phones aren't big enough to keep the rain off me, & they're a bit tough on the teeth, if you bite into them! LOL! Keep improving Firefox, I still like the old FF WAY better than this newer version, but once I got my head wrapped around this new thing, it's not THAT bad! As long as you continue forward, don't do anything that causes a meltdown, it'll be ok. SO- verify for me--> 84.1.4 to 85.1.1, & what's new or different, & I'm good to go! Thx, TBIGuy82000

Yes, that is the new update. The release notes are a bit light on details as there are no key new features, but this update does fix a number of smaller bugs and issues.
