Firefox 57-th crashed every time after start, program's window shrinked gradually but instantly to zero, the programm remained activ in background, unusasble. I tried many times start in safe mode, antiviral scanning, deinstallation and reinstallation of Firefox restarting computer. Nothing help. It was impossible to send report about crash. Firefox began work properly after installation of 56-th version and prohibition of any updates only. You have real bug in 57-th, it is not ripe yet.
What I have: Windows 10 home 64-bit. Gigabyte S-series Motherboard GA-73VM-S2H, Nvidia GeForce 7100 videocard, Dimm 2 4Gb memoryЮ

hi, are you able to get to keep firefox on the screen when you launch it in safemode by pressing the shift-key while it is starting? Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
To launch Firefox in safe mode it required first open programs window, click menu button, click help and so on. How is it possible to click menu button if window is closed? I started in Windows safe mode, I scanned with Eset Nod 32 antivirus, I repeatedly deinstalled Firefox, restarted computer, reinstalled Firefox. Without effect. All other programms are working properly. Firefox 56 works properly, but 57-th crashed. I don't think it is normal to start the program with ritual dances and magic spells.
i was explicitly saying that you could launch firefox into safemode by pressing the shift-key onyour keyboard while firefox is starting (also says so in the article). other users have reported this issue may be caused by the colorful tabs addon...
