Cannot send mail after wake on Macbook Pro
About a month ago, I started having issues sending mail. It sends mail just fine after a fresh boot, but if I try to send after waking from sleep mode, and message sends hang. Nothing gets sent. Every other application works just fine connecting to the internet. Even apple mail sends just fine after wake.

Thunderbird goes offline when it sees a loss of Internet connection. Next time you wake up your computer look in the lower left corner of Thunderbird. There is an icon that looks like 2 monitors. This is the online/offline indicator. You can change states by clicking the icon.
Actually, this did not solve the problem. Still happens.
When the computer wakes is it offline? If so the solution is to click the icon to place it back online.
