hi NatalieJo, sorry but firefox won't run on windows phones since it is not a supported platform: Will Firefox work on my mobile device?
I'm surprised a website is telling you your browser is too old, since Windows Phone 8.1 is fairly recent.
You can explore alternate browsers in the Windows apps store.
