Sent folder missing until I disable add-ons

Until recently the folder list included "sent". Now I must disable add-ons to make it appear. How can I fix? I disabled add-ons by entering "Help/Restart with Add-ons disabled" I need to know how to enable add-ons one at a time. How do I know which add-ons are installed?

disable add-ons how? Have you tried enabling them one at a time until your folder goes missing to work out which is causing this?

Your add-ons are listed at Tools - Add-ons - Extensions and can be individually enabled, disabled or removed.

Themes, which in my experience can also affect Thunderbird's function, can be found nearby under "Appearance".

One other thing that happens when you start with add-ons disabled is that hardware acceleration is disabled. I don't think this is important here, but bear it in mind if simply disabling add-ons and themes doesn't fix it.
