I would like to be able to search my emails specifying the dates between which the email could be?
Is there any feature planned or an existing add-on that allows for searching among emails BETWEEN TWO DATES? This would be extremely useful for those with many emails. Thank you.

Even though it's not between two exact dates, Global Search gives you a pretty accurate timeline. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-search#w_filtering-search-results

It has a powerful (and hence somewhat complicated) search expression syntax, but it most definitely includes a way to specify a cut-off date and a range of dates.
