I keep getting a white box on the top left corner of my computer. It doesn't come up right away but when I what to restore previous session it comes up. This has just reoccurred lately I had this problem before and it stopped for awhile but now its back. My Mac version is 10.6.8

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
