I appreciate the two answers, however, my problem is not the size of the print, it's the fact that it TOO LIGHT. I need a BOLD button.

I was using Windows Explorer as my search engine, but was having problems with it. I have switched to Firefox but am very unhappy with the LIGHTNESS of the font in things such as Gmail, Facebook, etc. What can I do to fix this?

Firs, you need to update your Firefox. You are on Firefox 7.0.1, and that version is EXTREMELY insecure. Please IMMEDIATELY update to Firefox 15.0.1 Update Firefox to the latest release

After doing that, try again. Also try reading Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should

You can use the NoSquint extension to set font size (text/page zoom) and text color on web pages.

The two answers were "helpful", but did not solve the problem.

You can use the NoSquint extension to set a bold font as the default.

This can be a problem with the font that is used to display the text.

You can do a font test to see if you can a font that looks good for you.

You can also set that font as the default font and disable website fonts to test the selected default font.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced
  • [ ] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Note that disabling website fonts may cause problems on websites that position elements and text absolute or set a fixed height for elements.
