I want to change passwords that are saved in the Firefox Password Manager. By change, I mean change on the websites to where I have assigned a password (for security, to periodically change passwords is recommend). But, it seems like you need to remove an entry in the Firefox Password Manager and create a new account (and then create a new password through the Password Manager). I must be missing something. Is there a simple way to change a password?

Hello, I subscribe to several substacks and, all of sudden, I cannot like, comment, or do anything on substack if I'm using Firefox. None of the buttons respond. I have tried disabling the ad blocker and tracker blocker (I use Badger and Ghostery) but that did not help. If I use a different browser, everything works fine. Any ideas would be very much appreciated!

Lately (the last few weeks) Facebook has been getting increasingly buggy and upset on Firefox. General browsing has intermittent speed issues, but in particular opening images off a Facebook page to view will freeze Firefox for 30 seconds or more almost every time, and after a while it usually gives an error about the page slowing FF down. I can close the tab, and if I go to another tab with a different website open then that works normally, but the Facebook tab is dead to the world during this time and doesn't respond to anything except being closed.

Facebook doesn't do this on Edge, and Firefox doesn't have the issue with any other websites, but Facebook now is almost at the point of being unusable.

I've cleared the cache completely, tried debugging mode with extensions disabled, and refreshed Firefox, nothing makes any difference.

Hi, I recently upgraded on Debian Linux to Firefox 128.11.0esr. I've begun to encounter an error in handling a login process that requires a Yubikey. Prior to the update if I logged into google or github, after the password prompt those services would request that I insert my security key, and then Firefox would offer a pop-up requesting that I touch my key. Now the behavior is that Firefox doesn't offer a prompt at the security key request screen, instead it seems that something happens immediately and automatically without my ever even entering the physical key into the USB port. Google/github then report that there has been an error in the sign in process without any input from me.

To troubleshoot I entered "Troubleshoot mode.." and tried signing in again with the same results. I've restarted my machine as well.

Ultimately, I've been able to get around this error to access my services by using alternate means of authentication. However I can't anticipate that this will be the case for all of my services.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot? Is there a log I can look to find more info?
