не работает спотифай когда запускаю его в вашем браузере пробовал еще и в хроме но так и не работает появляется серый мерцающий экран на весь экран но можно увидеть сверху у меня на панели иконки и еще с некоторым малым количеством сайтов происходит так же

I downloaded Firefox not too long ago to combat the fact the Microsoft Edge wasn't working correctly, but ever since I downloaded Firefox it's been making my computer run really slow on the browser. Things are often slow like scrolling up on and down pages websites like Pinterest, and the text when typing on Google docs takes a moment to show up after I've typed it and not instantly, for example.

I checked my computer's task manager because I recently cleaned the laptop, thinking that something else was causing it to be slow, but it isn't. I don't have many processes open on the computer mainly mandatory things and my browser, since I use my laptop mainly for school work, music, or writing. Firefox opens multiple processes, the highest being 21 at one time, and takes up most of the memory on the laptop. Is this normal? Because it takes 1,094.0 MB and keeps my laptop's memory at 90-91%. If it isn't normal, how can I reduce this as well as the lag on my laptop when Firefox is open?

A credit union has changed everything they had to login and use their website. I have to call every time I want to pay a bill ,so they can turn something on, or off, showing I am using a computer I have used in the past. It is their security. I was told that, in order for them to recognize my computer I have to turn off, uncheck the box saying to clear my history when I close my browser. I can no longer clear my history or cache if I want to use my bank. There has to be somewhere, to place them in the privacy and security setting so this does not delete what has to be kept in order to have my PC recognized by the worst IT department at any bank, so I don't have make transactions, only during bank hours, and wait 30 minutes on the phone to get this turned off. What instructions can you send me to stop JUST that credit union from being cleared on my History and Cache?

Whenever I try to log into my Eset Password Manager it says unable to log in offline. Yet Eset password manager works on other browsers. I have refresh the browser and removed and re add the Eset extension.

I am using a new Windows 11 computer. I use Firefox for almost everything. But it opens many processes and it very quickly gets to the point where anything I do causes a hang. If I am listening to music or a podcast it pauses and buzzes. This AM I turned on the computer and opened Firefox, without reopening an old session. I had open two windows with two tabs in each window. Using Windows Task Manager I determined that Firefox has twenty-one processes open. Some of them have the efficiency leaf and some do not. I do not use an Add-On manager, but use MalWareBytes for a VPN and protection. Please help.

I'm trying to write a date (specifically tomorrow's) in a PDF. Whenever I enter it, I get this error message telling me to use the wrong date format. Why does my browser have the authority to override my decisions in this way?

I have spent the last two hours trying to get my Bookmarks amd history back. I am exhausted and very worried. Firsty I tried going through the Menu, but there is no list of backups there. and there is no history, either!

Then I tried looking in about:profiles - I only have three:

oi853qa9.default, 7sh8b0ii.default-release, and d41afk6n.default-release-1. Only the first one of these contains any bookmark files.

Ideally, I would like to restore the most recent of these, or the second most recent, if the newest one is corrupted in some way. However I cannot find a way to do that from the information I have seen tonight. I hope you will be able to help me out,

My Mozilla Firefox bookmarks are Bookmarks 2025-07-22.JSON. They worked well on my older Dell computer. I bought a new Dell desktop computer. I am disgusted with Google. My bookmarks on my C Drive. If you can't help me reload those bookmarks, I may as well decide to delete Firefox and use another such as Total Browser. I certainly hope you will help me load 2025-07-22.JSON on my new computer - it is ridiculous that Firefox wants to put in the full address on the C Drive instead of simply loading those. On Firefox on my last computer I used News which was bookmarked Daily Wire, Epoch Times, Salem News Channel, God's World News, One America News, Washington Times, New York Sun, and local Sterling Virginia Weather. I also use biography sites https://www.Worldhistory.org and Britannica.com [both of which I pay for monthly, as https://www.wikipedia.org/. It manifests as the browser freezing within 3 seconds after startup, showing no response, and then having to choose to exit. I tried to downgrade version 137.0.2, but the problem still persists. After uninstalling this update, the problem was resolved.

THis morning, the motherboard on my laptop crashed SO I went to WalMart and bought a new one I downloaded Firefox..........and the bookmarks are 9 years old. And the bookmarks is where I keep 100s of passwords. I have to have them!

I just approved an upgrade to Firefox that mentioned something about a new way of dealing with extensions. The first thing I noticed was my 1Password add-on in the toobar disappeared. I took the steps recommended by 1Password to add it back, and I can get a 1Password icon to appear on the toolbar, but it is non-functional. I confirmed 1Password is still functional with an icon in the toolbars of my other browsers. What gives?

On certain web pages, there are scrollable containers (e.g., prompt cards in a prompt library) where the content overflows and should be scrollable with the mouse wheel when hovered. This works as expected in Chrome, Brave, and Edge browsers, but in Firefox, the mouse wheel does not scroll the content inside the container. This makes it impossible to access content that extends below the visible area.

Steps to Reproduce:

   Go to a page with a scrollable container (e.g., a prompt library with cards that have overflow content).

   Hover the mouse over the container.

   Try to scroll using the mouse wheel.

Expected Result: The content inside the container should scroll up or down.

Actual Result: Nothing happens; the content does not scroll.

I would like to disable automatic session restore completely. When I restart my PC, crashes or anything like that, I do not want Firefox to restore my previously opened tabs or windows. When I open firefox after a system reboot / crash, I want to only open my default home page. Only if I manually click History > Restore Previous Session should firefox ever restore my session, otherwise never restore my sessions.

I tried unchecking Settings > Startup > Open previous windows and tabs, and also tried following this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1182594

My sessions still restores after my computer restarts or crashes.

Why do I want this? When I reboot my computer, I want a clean slate to start from scratch, not the dozens of pages (and other software) I had open from my previous session.

I am running linux mint btw.
