I'm trying to sync my DuckDuck Go (DDG) search engine and Firefox data to a new pc. I haven't used or reset my Firefox password since (it looks like) 2014. When I tried to change my password, it required me to enter my old password, which if I knew it... So, I tried "forgot password" and it asks me for my many symbol/digit passkey - also which I don't know. But I'm in all my accounts on phone, tablet, and pc running Ws 10. But I need to switch full time to Ws 11. Please help.

I am trying to further secure my Mozilla account and was delighted to see that they added support for passkeys. I am signed into my Proton Pass on Firefox addon, but Firefox does not seem to understand it is supposed to create the passkey inside Proton.

This is unlike behavior I have witnessed on other sites supporting passkeys which has worked flawlessly to set up, such as Amazon.

Windows 11 Pro Mozilla Firefox 152.0.4 (64-bit)

When creating a passkey for my Mozilla account, the Windows Security passkey program insists on using my old gmail.com address instead of my new protonmail.com address.

How can I purge Mozilla records of my gmail address and use my protonmail address?
