I am on arch linux, Wayland KDE Plasma. KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0 Qt Version: 6.10.2 Kernel Version: 6.19.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) I then ran firefox (Both Flatpak and Pacman fail ), and no matter what (MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND on or off) when in pointer lock, the high polling rate mouse was significantly slower than the lower polling rate touchpad. I have tried different mice with high polling rate, the result is the same. https://mdn.github.io/dom-examples/pointer-lock/

LastPass does not seem to work on Firefox, to save passwords on my Mac. It works on Safari.

Also, on Zoom Chat, the page has changed to a white text on black background in the last 2 weeks. Please advise. Thank you.

Unable to access three sites (so far): MacOS9Lives.com, 68kmla.com and wycokck.com. I keep getting this response: "An error occurred during a connection...". Or in the case of the local city government's website (wycokck.org). I get a message that I am not authorized to access it. All other bookmarks tested here seem to function properly.

Google Fiber customer (GFiber) using the Nest Wifi Pro mesh system which reports a "Great" connection via all (3) access points.

I would like to setup Firefox so it checks for updates and installs them during maintenance windows (overnight) and runs the updates as 'system' account. This is how Chrome and Edge handle updates.

I tried using the following GPO settings

Application Autoupdate Enabled Background updater Enabled Disable Firefox Studies Enabled Disable Telemetry Enabled Disable Update Disabled Don't Check Default Browser Enabled

This seems to create Schedule tasks in Windows task scheduler, but the tasks are running as previously logged on user accounts. which doesn't help us in this particular environment.

I know we can manually push out the latest version via creating new MCM application pushes but the amount of updates that are coming down is a labor intensive exercise and we don't have the budget for PatchMyPC

Please post any thoughts!

I’m contacting you regarding the Pocket shutdown and the status of my saved items.

My account contains over 10 years of saved articles and bookmarks that are highly important to me. I’m concerned that I may lose access to this entire archive due to the shutdown/deletion process.

Could you please confirm:

1.. Whether my Pocket data is still available for export or recovery

2. If there is any official method to download my full archive (saved links, tags, and collections)

3. Whether account data is already in a deletion pipeline, and if so, whether recovery is still possible

4. If there is any paid or manual recovery option available, I am willing to use it.

This archive is extremely important, and I would appreciate any guidance as soon as possible.

148.0 disabled access to my banking site - same in 149.0. Sign-in screen OK, then a blank page! Site has "additional Permissions" and shows certified. Have to use Edge to access, Suggestions?'

Takes up to 30 minutes to sign in to my online banking account. Sign in with user id and password, get a "swirlly" for a long time, little messages at the left bottom of screen, when the screen finally appears, the graphics display as place hold words which make no sense. Contacted AllegacyFCU and they say it's on your side . . . recommend Chrome? I'm running Win 11Pro. Edge goes right in.

Cannot open my Firefox browser. The icon displays in my startup tray but only shows a small icon temporarily when I click on it; the browser does not open, Nothing I do will change that,

My extension is enabled but site data permissions for its target websites are turned off by default for some users.

This causes the extension to silently do nothing on those sites until the user manually grants permissions..

is this a firefox issue and is there a way to prevent this .

my extension works fine on chrome.

AirTable.com online app attached documents are downloading when selected to view. Not a problem in 148. Not happening on other browsers.

When you go to aol.com, there is a panel at the top with rotating pictures and headlines of current news events, which you can then click to go to the full article. The pictures are still there, and clicking on them will still go to the full article, but the headlines have disappeared. It still works ok on Edge, so it appears to be a Firefox problem, not an AOL or Windows problem. I have tried rebooting, clearing browsing data, updating to very latest Firefox version (I had been 2 or 3 versions out of date), turning off enhanced tracking protection for the AOL.com website, and allowing full cookies and site data for aol.com as an exception. My security protection is the standard Windows package, but I do not allow the cloud based or automatic sample submission aspects. I happened one other time a few months ago, but clearing cookies/cache solved it that time. No such luck so far this time.

The icons/shortcuts on my homepage are getting moved around, added to, or deleted despite my having pinned all of the shortcuts that I want. All 4 rows of shortcuts have been filled with my pinned ones. Now Firefox is deleting/moving the last 2 on the lower right and inserting 2 new and irrelevant ones in positions 2 and 3 of the top row. This is annoying and frustrating. Thanks for any help.

When Firefox starts, there are all these supposed "news" stories, and almost all of them are left-wing extremist leaning, anti-American junk, Don't know who supplies or selects them, but is there any way to set it so it presents a more balanced (and truthful) array, or failing that, doesn't come up at all? Thanks.

Lately I can not click all of my browser tabs, only some of them unless I do not have the browser maximized on the screen. If I make is smaller then I can click all of the tabs. Since the recent Firefox update I can't find a hardware acceleration setting to toggle off to see if it helps.

My desktop history is no longer synching with my phone. I have the proper desktop device synced.

I have sync turned on.

I haven’t checked, but I’ll venture to guess my bookmarks and open tabs aren’t syncing either.

Why?

The window is not coming, up. shut it down with task mgr. Deleted xul.json file and it worked for a little while. but broke toady. Windows update done andn restarted.
