hello my problem is widespread, recently i took my pc to shop because of some system problems, shopkeeper updated my windows 11 to newest version before update i think i had version from before 2025 i think, anyway many old programs i had saved stopped working or started to have problems if they worked, i had to instal new Firefox too because i completely lost the old one, and the problem i had while watching youtube was weird white blinking sometimes, it was very annoying, i searched online for solution and found out that i should turn off hardware acceleration, blinking stopped but now i see weird horizontal line in the middle of my screen while looking at pictures and moving them up or down or watching movie that moves up and down too, i dont mind turning acceleration back on but then resolving blinking while watching videos on Youtube my windows 11 version 25hc GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 driver updated 23.04.2026 version of driver 32.0.15.9636 firefox version 151.0.1

I had experienced the dreaded "XPCom error" and had to do a clean reinstall of Firefox (I know, I should've followed the rule of saving anything important in 3 separate locations.) I had re-logged in and noticed I didn't have any of my bookmarks or anything. Am I out of completely out of luck in this case of trying to get anything back?

I'm on an older, unsupported operating system (MacOS 10.14 Mojave) and am currently using Firefox 115.36.0esr which for the most part works fine. But there are increasingly websites that complain about having an outdated/unsupported browser and won't let me log in or whatever. For some sites I've solved the problem by using the Opera browser, but I've grown accustomed to Firefox, so......

There are a couple of options (that I know of) with browsers based on Firefox: Firefox Dynasty which has now become Firefox Momiji and Pale Moon.

I've given Momiji a quick try and function-wise it seems more or less like the regular Firefox, but does anyone know how safe it is to use? Both in regards to whoever is behind it and as a browser in general? I know nothing about Pale Moon. In addition to working with most current websites and be safe it should ideally be compatible with the current (115.36.0esr) version of the normal Firefox so that I can transfer all my open windows, bookmarks, tabs, passwords etc.

Is there the ability to highlight the open tab on the tab bar above the browser in a different colour this would help as well identify which tab we are working on for example if I am on Firefox, the tab above is highlighted in for example yellow so I’m aware that this is the open tap thank you

On my tool bar, the VPN button seems to have grown... It does this while both off, on and even when i remove/add it to the tool bar. I use very few extensions and i don't know what could have caused it. I use windows 11.

Since updating to 151.0.1 0 on MAC OS Tahoe 26.5 , every 6 digit TOTP entered posts error - "Use another authentication method"

I use same authenticator app on Safari - no issues.

Hello, I have been experiencing tab crashes while watching MSNOW at 4pm eastern. These have also occurred in troubleshooting mode. I have submitted the error codes and pasted the most recent five here. I also received an error code which to the best of memory stated to possibly reinstall firefox. How could it become mysterious by that it lets user's location leaked to github even though: - third-party HiFi company VPN is active and in OpenVPN UDP/TCP, Wireguard, IPv6 On/Off, etc... - No bookmark to corresponding website - Cache and website data were so-called cleaned, - Other browsers don't give that symptom, only FF - No related plugin, out of only 3

it's impossible to find out how it lends to the language and region query of this website every time after cleaning. Is FF getting closed app?

I am running the latest public stable release of Firefox, 151.0.1 (aarch64), and these last few weeks I've been getting prompted to grant my location over and over every time I do a Google search. In MacOS, I've granted Firefox location permission and I've repeatedly saved me giving google permission but it doesn't stop. This is happening on my MacBook Pro and Mac Studio.

Anyone else? Any tips? It's maddening. lol

I received an email saying "You're in" for the Smart Windows testing. I am logged into the account in which I received the email invitation. I also made sure I updated to the latest version of Firefox (151).

But I don't see any of the options mentioned in the main help article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/smart-window#w_access-smart-window).

How do I get access to the Smart Window if I've received the invitation?

I just received this on my iMac: “You have an unsent crash report related to crashes being investigated, etc.” Following this, I ended up with page after page of information and options. This is dense and confusing and many options seem like they're asking me to provide information or choose certain things that may create serious and damaging situations. I don't like it and I don't even know if it's legitimate. You have no phone support. With all this confusion I am considering moving on to another browser. For few days, it's impossible to connect to FACEBOOK. I have the latest version of FIREFOX, but I have to use another web browser (EDGE) to connect to FACEBOOK. The problem is the same with my two computers with the latest WINDOWS.

Previous to version 151.0.1, when I pressed ctrl-L, Firefox focused the URL bar and I was able to edit the URL. Now, on 151.0.1, pressing ctrl-L clears the URL and a dropdown for the search engine appears in the left of the URL bar (see attached screenshot). I have verified this on a new, blank profile. Is there a way to restore the old behavior?

When I restart Firefox on my PC, many tabs in at least one window will be moved from their position. Usually to the end of open tabs within that window. I've been dealing with this for years and never heard a response from anyone else. It is very annoying as many of my tabs are set up in a sequence. I have to find the first one, manually select them all, and then use the command to move them to the start of the window.

I am trying again to see who else has experienced this problem and if there are solutions for it.
