For some reason all of a sudden my bookmarks don't show their identification icons that are associated with that web site. Those icons are to the immediate left of the site address. I used to use those colored icons as a quick reference to select the web site I wanted. Being I have MANY bookmarks, those icons to the left weer a GREAT help to locating a specific bookmark.
How do I get my bookmarks to show the way they used to show before? Is there a way to show my bookmarks to a earlier date? Maybe that way my bookmarks will show the way they used to ? Can someone please help. This new bookmark menu listing I now see is not user friendly! Thank you.

Good morning, I'm running Firefox Developer Edition 143.0b6 on Linux Mint 22.1. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that when moving tabs on the left-hand side they'll instantly get locked into an inscrutable and seemingly impossible to fix "pinned mode". Is there a way to turn this off? It is driving me crazy. I've looked through Settings > General > Tabs and about:config and didn't see anything relevant. If anyone has run into this or knows a workaround, I’d be grateful to hear it.

Your new home page "recommended stories" are now categorized under topics (Popular, Science, Education, etc.) I blocked the category of "politics" and it no longer shows that category in the customization menu as an option. Furthermore, there was a Travel category that I wanted to see regularly but it has completely disappeared (as of today)! (I was just reading from it last night!) So frustrating.
I went into the settings to see if I could coral these categories, but both politics and travel are missing from the list. Please see attached screen shot from the customization settings tab. Furthermore, I'd like to know if these "topics" can be saved in the order that I'd like to see them.

Hello, I'm bilingual French/English. I browse in French, 90 % of the time (Using Firefox and DuckDuckGo). Unfortunately, more and more often, search results bring up sites which are obviously produced by AI sources for an English-speaking audience then automatically translated into French., which isn't what I'm looking for. For instance, If I look for some information on a medical condition, I get tons of answers from unknown and dubious sources and the content is very obviously Ai-related and translated into French. It's as if all the trustworthy sites (in English or French language) I used to easily access have been downgraded and sent to the bottom of the web never to be accessed again. This is really frightening. Any clues how to avoid this, or are we now locked against our will into the AI grasp ?

The search bar in Firefox is positioned on the right side, which doesn’t work well for me as a network engineer. Is there a way to customize it so that I can move the search bar to the left side of the toolbar?
