This is my original post. No response at all. Disappointing.

Non functioning Export/Import, upload images

At this point, if I could just get an opinion, a direction you might follow, if this was happening to you

It keeps recurring. This time it took 3 weeks from the time that last post. As I said in the past post, the problem is a corrupted 'sessionstore.jsonlz4 file.

My evidence is that when i ran about:support - Troubleshooting, the problem was still happening.

I just mounted a backup profile, created during the last incident. Works fine. I took the sessionstore.jsonlz4 from that backup and replaced the one in the problem profile.

After doing the replacement, the problematic profile symptoms have disappeared. At least for now, that is.

But now, I have to restore the missing portion of the session (tabs/history) created between the last occurrence and now, because of the replacement of the corrupted sessionstore.jsonlz4 with the backup.

Nobody has offered a way to do this that is not a time consuming ordeal.

What would you do?

Hello!

I found the new "Close Duplicate Tabs" and would like to suggest the following, for improvement for power users.

1) It should be possible to configure an option for what should happen with the duplicate tabs. For example: it should be possible to move all the Duplicate Tabs to a new Window - so I can view all these tabs and compare them (and close them if I want that) Reason: I use a web interface to a database for documentation and sometimes I have more than one tab open with the same article - but the software behind it doesn't notice, it just stores what comes out and so it would happen that an article is accidentally overwritten.

2) According to what criteria are the duplicate tabs compared - can you set options here?

Best wishes! hannes

When you check the image, you can see two "HOME" entries. This is an issue I discovered after uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox browser and using Sync.

HOME is my PC, and this image was screenshot on my laptop.

Additionally, the Sync for these HOME entries is not functioning properly. I tested this by opening several sites, and while Sync works well from my smartphone to my PC, it doesn't sync properly from my PC to my laptop.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I tried rebooting my PC, but it didn't work out.

I know from visiting other forums that updates to Firefox have been released, but MSIX is not installing them - or even notifying me, much less asking if I want to install them. For example, Help > About Firefox shows that I am running V.129.0; yet I'm pretty sure that V.120.0.2 has been released.

Why? What can I do to ensure that I'm running the latest release?

I've restarted Firefox to see if that would work. It did not. I haven't rebooted to see if that works; but, even if it does, that seems to be a rather drastic effort to install a new version.

Hello,

the problem Recently in the last 2 weeks Firefox suddenly started giving errors whenever I went to any website (including any search engine). Except for my school portal that worked find. what I've tried to fix it I've tried messing with the settings and l've reinstalled Firefox three times but it didn't really help at all. additional information

  • If I use any other browser like safari then everything works fine.
  • Also just before the problem started I installed the Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 app, but I completely deleted it and the problem still persisted.
  • The problem only happens at school, at home in my home network everything works fine
  • I used Betterfox although I have tried it without Betterfox installed
  • The first time reinstalled Firefox and Betterfox I also signed up for Nextdns and set that un in system settings it still didn't work so I tried to remove it but I'm not certain it was removed.
  • Just this morning I logged into Firefox in my school and it worked but then I reinstalled Firefox again and it broke. I can't remember why I decided to do that.
  • When I use a vpn it seams to work but I would rather be able to connect to the internet without a vpn.

Dear community,

I am on Linux Ubuntu and I have a US international keyboard layout which allows me to produce a lot of useful characters by combining two keys (' + e = é, ^ + e = ê, ...) . I had to fiddle with the system to get the behavior the combination ' + c = ç instead of ć. But it was working well. (https://superuser.com/questions/1075992/cedilla-under-c-%C3%A7-in-us-international-with-dead-keys-keyboard-layout-in-linu)

Since a recent update (I am on version 130.0) , Firefox changed its behaviour and now produces a ć instead of a ç. But this is the only application to do this, all the other ones are still producing the desired behaviour.

Can anyone understand why Firefox would not behave the same as other apps with the same keyboard layout selected?

Thanks in advance,
