version 93.0 (64 bit) Windows 10, I have lost all my bookmarks and I can not bookmark any pages. The bookmark tabs are gone. I get the message: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem" What security software?

I'd like to decrease the font size and change the font type in the pull down bookmarks menus. Is there a way to do that? There is no effect after tried Fonts and Colors under Preferences - Language & Appearance. Thanks.
