I have been creating folders filled with links in the bookmarks menu. The "Open all in tabs" function within folders in the bookmarks drop down menu and the library menu will not work when selected. I can still select bookmarks individually in the folders. How does one proceed to fix this malfunction?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

While the safe mode did enable me to open all tabs, I was not able to pinpoint what the cause was. I did reset on the safe mode. Now it works great. I just re-downloaded the add-ons I regularly use.
