I installed firefox on a new pc and after loggin in and syncing my account all my pinned sites on the firefox homepage disappeared. Is there any way i can get them back?

Probably not, pinned tabs are part of preferences that are synced, so connecting to the Sync account and syncing preferences may overwrite settings like the pinned tabs.

Changes made manually on the Firefox Home page are stored in prefs that you can find on the about:config page.

You can disable syncing a specific pref by setting its related services.sync.prefs.sync control pref to false.

  • about:config => services.sync.prefs.sync.browser.newtabpage.pinned => false
