How do you contact Mozilla directly to let them know they are needing to correct problems? They have been obviously making changes this week that are breaking processes.

Please update your Firefox browser- http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if that works.

  • Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
  • Mac: hold down the Options key while starting Firefox

There are other things that need attention.

The System Details List shows that you have multiple Flash plugins.

  1. Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0
  2. Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.

Hi PureMe, Firefox 45 was released this week, but at the time you posted your question, your Firefox declared itself to be version 44, so I don't think this week's changes are relevant to your problem.

That said, you might have gotten automatic add-on updates this week in anticipation of the new version, so that could be a factor.

Could you help us out with a little more information about your crashes? If you are getting the Mozilla Crash Reporter form, your Firefox may have logged some data that would help track down the cause of that part of the problem. You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox crashes - asking for support" for steps to get those crash report IDs from the about:crashes page, and then post some of the recent ones here.

Since I am not a techie, I don't understand most of what you offered. Good to know that Firefox came out with an update, so I just finished updating. I am hoping that will solve my problems. :) Thank you for responding.
