Hi vacationer, There is no hard and fast rule that you need to enable cookies. This is absolutely a preference and matter of convenience. You should take a look at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Cookies?s=cookies&r=0&e=es&as=s#w_cookie-settings Cookies Settings] article in the Knowledge Base. It will give you information on how to manage your cookie settings. I just looked at the Better Privacy extension as well and it doesn't look like there is any reason why you shouldn't be able to use it.
