I am not able to save passwords. I have done all that is required to save passwords. Also, under Tools, I see Save Password option in red. Please suggest.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie that you must allow: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions"

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences" "Browser History"

I have done this but it doesnt help. I am attaching the screencapture where the saved passwords is always showing up in red which was not the case before i got my system reimaged

Try disabling that Saved Password Button 1.1 extension and see what happens.

If the saved passwords 1.1 is disabled then i dont see the saved passwords option under tools and when i enable it again it is same thing in red. I uninstalled and reinstalled this add-in and it still doesnt work.

it won't prompt me to save passwords even though i want it too.
