A Navy shipmate had his house burn down and he lost everything. He would like me send him a complete copy of my Thunderbird address book and I don't know how to do this. It would be nice if I could include Name, Address, Phone and Email address. The address book has a couple hundred Navy pals in it. I am sort of a self taught novice at this so bear that in mind if and when you respond. When we were in the Navy we didn't have computers so you can imagine how old I am. My email address is 'white1@cfl.rr.com' and my phone is 321-723-5544.

Let's go back a step.
How does your shipmate intend to use the address book?
There are several options open to you for packaging up some or all or part of your address books, but to be able to know which of these would be most useful we need to know how your friend will use them.
Probably the most general solution is to export the relevant address book(s), each to its own CSV ("comma separated") file, and send those on to him. Pretty much all address books will be able to import these. But if your friend is also using Thunderbird, the LDIF file format would be a tad easier for him to use.
