Seems like reachability to any website stops with mozilla with latest update. It requires a restart of the browser to start connectivity again.

I have started using chrome for now as it is irritating that this problem happens regularly (say for eg., after 5 minutes of using mozilla after a restart.. I again have to restart it)

What is your computer system and Firefox? You are saying Firefox connects, but then it's cut off?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?

This is windows 7 enterprise running on my lenovo t440

Once I start firefox it works fine for ~5 mins and once the problem comes, if I enter a website URL, it simply keeps on saying "connecting..." and doesnt come out of that mode... if I quit firefox in that state, it opens a crash submit window... Just submitted one more complaint 3 mins back..

While still in Safe Mode,
