Installed Firefox but it won't run. What to do?
I installed FF but it doesn't start up upon completion of the install and it won't run from the taskbar or the .exe. It just sits there.
The .exe file is just 368k -- maybe it didn't download entirely? Wondering how to get this up and running.

Where did you get the installer from?
- 1 Download Firefox Full Installer For All languages And Systemsv39 {web link}
- 2 Uninstall Firefox from your computer {web link}
DO NOT remove your profiles. - 3 After, reboot the computer. Then run the full installer.

I followed the instructions carefully and got the same result – the taskbar icon glows about 5 seconds like it’s trying to start and then fades off. It’s so weird. The application is 378k?
Could there be any other thing blocking it on this machine?

It could be many things. Do these next and let us know the results
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox.
Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
