Hi, when in tracking protection settings, the difference between major and minor page corrections checkbox choices isn't explained. A referral url info button would help alleviate. Yes, they do maintain blacklists for their own internal justice system, which I discovered using self-taught low level Linux forensics to find the bootkit methods they locked into my bios. No one wants to touch that live wire and it's now SOP industry standard.

Firefox says that it blocked known fingerprint trackers from two sites that I really do not believe had them.

If I go back to the sites later and check, it says they have no trackers. I don't really understand how this works but if they have trackers wouldn't Firefox have to keep blocking them?

Good day everybody, I am new to Firefox. I have MacBookAir 11. I added the Ecosia extension since it's my main search engine. I noticed there aren't ads popping up for Ecosia. That is how Ecosia makes money for it's sustainability projects, so, as nice as it is to not see ads, I would like them to show up for my Ecosia searches. I understand you can make an Enhanced Tracking Protection exception (and I did), but where can I find a place to make exceptions for whatever AdBlock software came already integrated to Firefox? I am liking Firefox so far. Thank you everybody. Miran.

I was getting a frame displaying that embedded content was blocked from x, instagram, and others. I clicked the allow routine and got the embed. Now it's all over the place, scroll, scroll, scroll, blah, blah. How do I reenable the blocking?

I am getting a strange message on adult pages I open on Firefox. It says; "opt out signal honored". I checked with the site owner and they told me it is a function of my browser. What is it?

Enhanced Tracking Protection is preventing access to x.com even after it is allegedly "turned off" for this site. I have been using personal computers since the 1970s after the IBM PC was introduced, but now I am about ready to ditch Firefox AND Windows 11 to install a decent version of Linux. Grok on my iPhone 8 offered several suggestions to resolve this issue, but none of them have worked so far... including trying to us Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox.

A site I use daily for news suddenly is not activating, but told me there is an ad blocker happening via an extension. I went on privacy and security and extensions and I have not activated any extensions to block ads. This site activation was working just fine before Firefox notified me of "changes" that would not effect my settings. It obviously did. Would Zoom size be effecting the opening of this site. It's just at 100%. I have been trying Gemini to figure out the problem but so far nothing is working.

Some setting is causing an ad blocker alert from a site I use daily. I do not have any ad blockers. This is a new problem since Firefox has changed some settings.
