I just purchased a new iMac Air. when I try to login to my accounts with Firefox, the computer freezes. All tabs open freeze. I can't play or close them.

The x appears in the tab, and when I click on it, the program disappears. I bring it back up and it repeats. Have tried closing the program, restarting the computer, using the Close Tab from the File menu, CTRL-W, yelling at it loudly, but nothing has worked. I cannot update the iOS in this computer. Firefox is up to date. Several programs I need can only run on Firefox , not Safari, so I need it. I now have so many open tabs that I can't find anything. HELP!

Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.
What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.
There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.
I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

Hello. I have this problem for almost a year now. There are websites where my Firefox crashes constantly and I can't use it at all for browsing them. All such websites are mostly online stores where you can buy something by putting it into cart and then proceeding to order page. I can't even scroll through product pages, it crashes in second after opening the webpage. For example, ozon.ru

Since a few days, Firefox started crashing each time I receive a notification.
For example, with this notifications test website: https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html
Each time I click on the "Show" button to display a notification, Firefox becomes completely unresponsive: the content of the window is completely frozen and I can't click on anything. I must close it and restart it to make it work again. When I restart it, a dialog displays:
> Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.
In both applications, the notification is never shown: the freeze occurs before.
I tried the following changes but they did not stop the issue from occuring:
- Deactivating hardware acceleration - Troubleshooting mode - Deactivating firefox notifications in Windows - Deactivating `alerts.useSystemBackend` and `alerts.useSystemBackend.windows.notificationserver.enabled` in `about:config`
At the same time, I noticed that Thunderbird (v144.0.1, 64bits) started having the same issue. It haappens each time I receive a new message in the background and a notification should appear. Maybe this is related?

Firefox is crashing for me pretty consistently. It was happening with a significant amount of time in between each one but has escalated to the point where it is happening once every few minutes now. I have checked for updates and ran Firefox in troubleshoot mode. There are no updates available for me, and it still crashed in troubleshoot mode. My most recent crash report is bp-462fb540-28d6-4d0c-8007-6428d0251028. I am running Pop!os and recently did a firmware update, so I am wondering if that is where the problem is originating from since I had no issues with Firefox prior to that update.

Hello. I had been experiencing a lot of freezes, hang ups, and disconnectivity with crash messages asking me to either restart Firefox, or quit firefox ! I finally just recently downloaded again from your website and in order to function it defaulted to Safe Mode. How do I correct this ? Note: The website is currently operational but not at 100% ! Every day when I try to open a new tab in Firefox, whether by link or directly, I get the error message "Gah, Your tab just crashed." I have used Firefox as my primary browser for 10 years. If I reboot the computer this solves the problem, but I am not going to do this every day. All the other browsers work. This just started five days ago and I made no changes to Firefox. Help!

I wanted to report that Firefox froze or crashed. I could not close it and had to Endtask it. I am running the latest version supposedly on Windows 11. Why did this occur?
I have been using foxfire for years and all of a sudden all of my tabs keep crashing when I type in something to search for

Mozilla Firefox began to crash all the time; crashes happen almost every ten minutes, and it happens with every site. It still lasts about for several weeks. I tried to reinstall Firefox; I updated my drivers for my computer; I cleared cash and history in the settings; I tried to delete some files from Firefox's folder. All these things did not help. The crashes may happen with any site, and it can happen any time. I have no problem with memory shortage. My system consists of Ryzen 7 5800x, Radeon RX 7800 XT and G.Skill Flare X (for AMD) DDR4 2x16Gb.
how do I reset my Iphone and/or Firefox to not drop texts and emails and links?
